Raf Simons AW2000 "Confusion" Knit

Raf Simons AW2000 "Confusion" Knit

Raf’s final work before a forced one-season sabbatical, “Confusion” offered hints that Simons had grown weary of the ultra slim silhouette which defined his work up to the point. It marked the first appearance of his now legendary oversized bombers, however Raf had yet to turn his conceptual sights to the working class, which would be the final creative harbinger of Simons unleashing the 3-year run of seasons commonly regarded as his peak.

Confusion was still an exploration of the jaded offspring of the elite, with several crucial offerings such as the knit above referencing prep school staples. It features a crested patch reading “The Hydesville Castle Community”, and is cut with Raf’s then-signature high arm holes and slim body.
