The jagged edges of the Balenciaga font pay tribute to Metallica’s iconic logo, while the visual layout of the graphic is borrowed from a 1982 Queen tour shirt. This top is a strong example of the streetwear-influenced clothing which Nicolas Ghesquière meshed with his sharp tailoring during his time at Balenciaga.
