Though Yoshiyuki Konishi is best known for his intricate, hand-made knitwear, his mainline strayed from the playfulness of Ficce, and rather focused on the gothic, new-romantic aesthetics which were popular in Japan during his heyday. Not unlike with his knitwear, an emphasis is put on construction and fabric, and these leather pants use an intricate embossing and dying process to mimic the appearance of authentic snakeskin.
